Home Repair & Enhancement Grants

Repair Your Home

The City of Racine believes everyone deserves a safe and habitable place to live, and we want to support homeowners in investing in their homes. We’ve created the new Homeowner Repair Program to help City homeowners fix up and re-invest in their homes. Homeowners within the boundaries of Neighborhood TID 23 (see map) can now apply for up to $10,000 in grants to make repairs like fixing porches, roofs, electrical, plumbing, and more. The application is below and we encourage eligible homeowners in Neighborhood TID 23 to apply!

Applications are not open now. Check back soon.

Enhance Your Home

We also want to help City homeowners improve their properties and increase their value. We’ve created the new Property Enhancement Program to help City homeowners enhance and upgrade their homes. Homeowners within the boundaries of Neighborhood TID 23 (see map) can now apply for up to $10,000 in grants for home upgrades such as kitchen and bath remodels; building garages, fences, or sheds; and adding square feet to the house. The application is below and we encourage eligible homeowners in Neighborhood TID 23 to apply!

Applications are not open now. Check back soon.
